Realese a Unity application , but doesn't have stereo effect?

I use Unity2017 to make a simple demo and there have stereo effect in preview window. But when i build an application there are no stereo effect.

where do i make any mistakes?

Hi eeDee,

When you build the application, do you see the scene in non-stereo, or do you see a blank, flat color?

If you cant see the scene, and rather a flat color, I would suggest deleting the current camera, and replacing it.

If you can see the scene, but its not stereo, this could be a number of things and the best advice I can give would be to read through the release notes and be sure there aren't any settings that may have been missed.

If you can describe the steps you took to implement the plugin, or can share the demo, I'll take a look and see if I notice anything missing.

I start the Unity2017 with command line argument "-vrmode stereo" ,and then enable the "Run In Background" and add the “Stereo Display" to the Virtual Reality Supported list.

I cant see stereo effect in Unity's gameview window,and get the message"VRDevice stereo not supported in Editor Mode.  Please run on target device."

even thought  I fount it works pretty good in preview window,it doesnt have any stereo effect when I build the application.

Hmmm, One thing you might want to check is the "Virtual Reality Supported" list.

When you first hit the Virtual Reality Supported checkbox, the list may show Oculus and OpenVR already in the list.

Those should be removed so that "Stereo Display (non head-mounted)" is the only SDK in the list.

Still dont work,but I fount use the OpenGL rendering pipeline it can built the application have stereo effect(the preview window was disabled)

Hmmmm, Before switching to the OpenGL pipeline, were you running the built application with any command line arguments?

I apologize for possibly diverting this thread. I don't see "Stereo Display (non head-mounted)" in my SDK list after adding the zCore prefab to my scene, just the default SDKs. Is something else needed to get the "Stereo Display..." SDK to show up? Thanks.

That is an outstanding issue, but there's a way to avoid that for now, see this thread.
